| TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 PONTIAC G6. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR BRAKE LIGHTS WERE ILLUMINATED WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS NOT DEPRESSED. WHEN THE BRAKES WERE DEPRESSED, THE REAR BRAKE LIGHTS WOULD NOT ILLUMINATE. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 09V036000 (EXTERIOR LIGHTING:BRAKE LIGHTS). THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE DEALER REPAIRED THE FAILURE HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED AND THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER BUT WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 79,700 AND THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000. | |
