TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 PONTIAC G6. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE BRAKE LIGHTS FAILED TO FUNCTION WHEN DEPRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL. THE FAILURE RECURRED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THE BRAKE LIGHT WOULD TURN OFF WHEN APPLYING THE BRAKES AND WOULD REMAIN ILLUMINATED WHEN THE BRAKES WERE NOT BEING DEPRESSED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS WHERE IT WAS STATED THAT THE BRAKE SWITCH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000.
