TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 PONTIAC G6. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE REAR BRAKE LIGHTS TURNED ON SUDDENLY. THE BRAKE LIGHTS TURNED OFF WHEN THE CONTACT APPLIED THE BRAKES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHO REPLACED THE BRAKE PEDAL POSITIONING SENSOR. THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHO COULD NOT FIND THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER WHO WAS LOOKING INTO THE ISSUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 49,800.
