TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 PONTIAC G6. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE STEERING WOULD CONTINUOUSLY FAIL SPORADICALLY AND WHEN FIRST STARTING THE VEHICLE, THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL NOISE FROM THE ENGINE AREA. THE DEALER REPLACED THE THREADING IN THE STEERING COLUMN TWICE TO NO AVAIL AND THE DEALER NEVER GAVE THE CONTACT A REASON FOR THE FAILURE. THE DEALER ALSO ATTEMPTED TO DETECT THE ENGINE NOISE BUT WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE WHAT WAS CAUSING THE NOISE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT FURTHER REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 6 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 44,000.
