Pontiac G6 Electrical System Safety Report | Oct 28, 2013

Reported on Oct 28, 2013

THIS IS ON MY DAUGHTER'S CAR. I WAS FOLLOWING HER AND I NOTICED SHE WAS DRIVING WITH HER FOOT ON THE BRAKE. I MOTIONED HER TO PULL OVER AND ASKED HER WHY SHE HAD HER FOOT ON THE BRAKE. SHE SAID SHE WAS NOT DRIVING WITH HER FOOT ON THE BRAKE. UPON FURTHER INVESTIGATION I FOUND OUT THE BRAKE LIGHTS WERE STAYING ON WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS NOT DEPRESSED, BUT WHEN SHE DEPRESSED THE BRAKE PEDAL THE BRAKE LIGHTS ACTUALLY WENT OFF. THIS IS AN EXTREMELY UNSAFE CONDITION. DOING RESEARCH ONLINE I HAVE FOUND MANY OTHER PONTIAC G6 OWNERS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED AND FIXED BY GM. *TR
