Pontiac G6 Air Bags Safety Report | July 03, 2012

Reported on July 03, 2012

THE AIRBAG SERVICE LIGHT WOULD COME ON AND GO OFF. TOOK TO DEALER TO HAVE CHECKED OUT. TOLD THE SEAT CUSHION WAS SHORTING OUT AND MAY NOT ALLOW AIRBAGS TO WORK. FOUND OUT GM TOTALLY REDESIGNED THE SEAT AND SENSOR MODULE AND CONNECTOR. THIS SYSTEM IS OF POOR DESIGN AND COULD HAVE RESULTED FATALITY IF INVOLVED IN A CRASH. *TR
