Reported on Mar 08, 2000

WHEN THOROUGHLY WARMED UP, FROM A STOP, USUALLY MAKING A TURN, THE CAR DOES NOT ACCELERATE NORMALLY. HESITATES AND ACTS JUST AS THOUGH STARVING FROM FUEL. HAPPENS A THIRD OF THE TIME. ANTI-KNOCK SENSOR IS RETARDING ENGINE TIMING TO A NEGATIVE READING WHEN IT SHOULD BE A POSITIVE 20 DEGREES DURING ACCELERATION. DEALER HAS REPLACED TWO SENSORS AND THE SAME SITUATION STILL EXISTS. DANGEROUS WHEN MERGING WITH OR CROSSING TRAFFIC. *AK
