Pontiac Bonneville Electrical System Alternator/generator/regulator Safety Report | May 01, 2000

Reported on May 01, 2000

VEHCILE JUST STALLED FOR NO REASON. DEALER REPLACED ALTERNATOR TWICE TO BELIEVE IT WOULD SOLVE THE PROBLEM. THE PROBLEM WASN'T SOLVED. THE 2ND TIME ALTERNATOR WAS REPLACED BECAUSE THEY FELT IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN A DEFECT OF ALTERNATORS. DEALER REALLY DOESN'T HAVE A REMEDY FOR THE PROBLEM. *AK
