Nissan Murano Visibility Safety Report | Oct 15, 2009

Reported on Oct 15, 2009

THE DRIVER SIDE SUN VISOR ON MY 2006 NISSAN MURANO IS DEFECTIVE AND IS NO LONGER COVERED UNDER THE MANUFACTURER WARRANTY. IT HAS NOT BEEN OVERUSED, HOWEVER, THE VISOR FALLS ABRUPTLY AT VARIOUS TIMES WHILE DRIVING BLOCKING THE DRIVER'S VISION MOMENTARILY. IT HAS NOT CAUSED AN ACCIDENT, HOWEVER, DRIVING WITH IT AS IT IS CAN POSSIBLY CAUSE AN ACCIDENT DURING THAT MOMENT OF OBSTRUCTED VISION WHILE DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY, ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT TIME. THE DEALER OR THE EXTENDED WARRANTY FOR MY VEHICLE DOES NOT COVER THIS COST AND THE REPLACEMENT COST IS RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE. *TR
