Nissan Murano Visibility Safety Report | June 07, 2009

Reported on June 07, 2009

2006 NISSAN MURANO SL DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE SUN VISORS SUDDENLY DROP WITHOUT WARNING; WHEN NEEDED TO BLOCK THE SUN WHEN DRIVING THEY DO NOT STAY IN PLACE, THEY JUST HANG STRAIGHT DOWN. THE VISORS STARTED FALLING WITHIN 1 MONTH OF EACH OTHER; IT IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY; REPLACEMENTS COST $400 APIECE. I FEEL THE COST IS PROHIBITIVE AND UNREASONABLE AND SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN A RECALL AS IT CAUSES A SAFETY HAZARD WHEN DRIVING. *TR
