Nissan Murano Seats Safety Report | Dec 11, 2012

Reported on Dec 11, 2012

I SAT DOWN IN THE DRIVERS SEAT AND HEARD A CRACKING SOUND AND FELT THE LEFT REAR OF THE SEAT DROP DOWN 1-2 INCHES. THE SEAT ROCKS FROM SIDE TO SIDE WHILE DRIVING. UPON INVESTIGATION I FOUND THE LEFT REAR SEAT BRACKET IS BROKEN. THIS IS VERY UNSAFE. THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF REPORTS ON THE INTERNET OF THIS PART FAILING IN MANY YEARS OF THE MURANO VEHICLE AND AN UPDATED STRONGER PART IS NOW AVAILABLE. I FEEL THIS TYPE OF INCIDENT SHOULD BE THE SUBJECT OF A RECALL AND REPAIRED FOR NO COST TO THE OWNER. *TR
