Nissan Murano Seats Safety Report | Oct 26, 2012
Reported on Oct 26, 2012
HEARD POPPING SOUND ON LEFT SIDE OF DRIVER SEAT A FEW DAYS LATTER BACK LEFT SIDE GIVES WAY AND SEAT ROCKS DOWN. PULLING SEAT OFF, FOUND THAT REAR BRACKET BROKE AWAY FROM FRAME. IN MY OPINION THE REAR BRACKET NEEDS TO BE MADE OF A STRONGER PIECE OF STEEL OR THE SIZE INCREASED. HAVE PICTURES OF THE DAMAGED PART. POOR DESIGN AND ATTACHMENT. DANGEROUS AND UNETHICAL THAT NISSAN WILL NOT RESPOND NOR FIX THE PROBLEM. *TR | |
