Nissan Murano Seats Safety Report | July 16, 2011
Reported on July 16, 2011
ONE WEEK AFTER MY EXTENDED WARRANTY EXPIRED THE DRIVER'S SEAT FRAME ON MY 2006 NISSAN MURANO SUDDENLY BROKE, WHILE I WAS DRIVING. IT SCARED ME AND I THOUGHT I WAS ABOUT TO HAVE AN ACCIDENT. THE FRAME BROKE IN THE REAR LEFT SECTION OF THE FRAME. THE SEAT NOW BOUNCES REARWARD. THIS HAS GOT TO BE A TERRIBLE HAZARD. I SEE NUMEROUS OTHER CONSUMERS HAVE HAD OR ARE HAVING THIS SAME PROBLEM AND NISSAN NEEDS TO BE ACCOUNTABLE. LIVES COULD BE LOST BECAUSE OF THIS HAZARD. *KB | |
