Nissan Murano Seats Safety Report | Aug 23, 2010

Reported on Aug 23, 2010

DRIVER'S SIDE LEFT REAR SEAT HINGE BROKE IN TWO PIECES. NO EXTREME WEAR OR TEAR DONE TO THIS SEAT, AND THE METAL BROKE. THE CONSEQUENCES OF THIS PROBLEM ARE OBVIOUS, IF EVER IN AN ACCIDENT OR SIMPLY NORMAL DRIVING, THE SAFETY OF THE SEAT IS COMPROMISED. NISSAN CHARGES AROUND $1000 TO HAVE THIS REPAIRED. SEAT BRACKETS SHOULD NEVER FAIL, ESPECIALLY NOT IN THE NUMBERS BEING REPORTED. *TR
