| DT*: THE CONTACT STATED AFTER THE REARVIEW MIRROR WAS CHECKED AT 50 MPH, THE VEHICLE COLLIDED WITH A DUMP TRUCK AND WAS DRAGGED BY THE TRUCK. THE CONTACT HAD NO RECOLLECTION OF EVENTS AFTER CHECKING THE MIRROR. THE CONTACT HIT THE STEERING WHEEL, ALTHOUGH THE SEATBELT WAS WORN. THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY AND THE CONTACT'S STERNUM FRACTURED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALERSHIP AND A POLICE REPORT WAS TAKEN. THE DEALERSHIP DETERMINED THE AIRBAG SENSOR WAS NOT STRUCK AND THE AIRBAGS SHOULD NOT HAVE DEPLOYED. | |
