TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 NISSAN ALTIMA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN HE ATTEMPTED TO START THE VEHICLE, THE START BUTTON FAILED. THE START BUTTON WAS VERY LOOSE AND HAD TO BE CONTINUALLY PRESSED FOR TWO TO FIFTEEN MINUTES TO GET THE VEHICLE TO START. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR A DIAGNOSIS; HOWEVER THEY WERE UNABLE TO REPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE CONTINUED TO GET PROGRESSIVELY WORSE. THE FAILURE OCCURRED AGAIN AND THE VEHICLE HAD TO BE TOWED TO THE DEALER; HOWEVER ONCE AGAIN THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE REPLICATED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY WOULD REPLACE THE PUSH BUTTON ASSEMBLY. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 5,000.
