CONSUMER STATED THAT WHEN STOPPING AT A STOP SIGN, THEN BEGINNING TO TAKE OFF, TRANSMISSION WOULD HESITATE. LATER, IT WOULD KICK IN. IT WAS AS IF THE TRANSMISSION WAS SLIPPING. CONSUMER THEN TOOK VEHICLE TO THE MECHANIC, AND WAS TOLD THAT HE NEEDED A NEW TRANSMISSION. HE HAD IT REPAIRED BY HAVING THE ALUMINUM PISTOLS REPLACED WITH STEEL PISTOLS.
