TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 MERCURY GRAND MARQUIS. WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS BETWEEN 5 AND 10 MPH THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED ON ITS OWN AND THE BRAKES WOULD NOT STOP THE VEHICLE. TO STOP THE VEHICLE, THE CONTACT HAD TO PUT THE VEHICLE IN NEUTRAL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35,000. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATOR LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 37,000.
