I OWN A 2000 GRAND MARQUIS WITH 41,000 MILES AND HAD TO REPLACE THE DRIVE HAFT. I WAS GETTING NOTICABLE VIBRATION ABOVE 65. DRIVE SHAFT WAS BENT. VIBRATION IS GONE BUT THERE IS SOME LOW LEVEL NOISE FROM THE REAR END. MECHANIC SAYS IT IS THE GEARS.*AK I ALSO OWN A 1999 GRAND MARQUIS WITH THE SAME OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT AS THE 2000. THE 1999 HAS 71,000 MILES AND RUNS SMOOTH AND QUIET.
