I have an 1998xj8 what does a dianostic cash to evaluate the car my abs light come on and the fault not in gear light come on MY 2004 XJ8 WHEN SLOW DOWN TO STOP ONCE I STOP IT AS IF THE TRANSMISSION IS CATCHING UP WITH FACT THAT I HAVE STOPPED IT JERKS ONE MORE TIME RIGHT ATER I STOP SOMEONE SAID IT MAY THE DOWNSHIFTING OF THE TRANSMISSION HELP ?? ABS, Traction control lights come on and then at times go away. I was told by a Jag service shop the partto correct this problem is in excess of $1400.00. 1997 Jag with 49.000 miles. At times I was able to reset it my putting the car in Strong raw gasoline smell in cabin. JAG xk8, was there a recall on this problem? Jaguar 2010 XFR rear brakes replaced before front brakes @ 20,000.
