| CHECK ENGINE LIGHT STAYS ON AND TRUCK CUTS OFF FREQUENTLY. I HAVE HAD THE PLUGS AND WIRES CHANGED, NUMEROUS OIL CHANGES, GAS TREATMENTS. I TOOK IT TO A MECHANIC SEVERAL TIMES. I EVEN WENT ON LINE TO CHECK INFORMATION AND WAS TOLD THAT THE FUEL TANK HAS GONE BAD AND THAT ONE COMING FROM THE MANUFACTURE WOULD COST $1500.00! I JUST BOUGHT THIS TRUCK IN MAY 2004. I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO DRIVE THE TRUCK FOR ALMOST 2 WEEKS, AND I STILL OVER 2 1/2 YEARS ON IT. WHY AREN'T THERE RECALLS ON THIS FUEL TANK/GAS/EMISSIONS SYSTEM ???I DON'T HAVE $1500.00 DOLLARS , PLUS CONTINUE TO MAKE PAYMENTS ON IT TOO. *JB | |
