Hyundai Entourage Seat Belts Safety Report | Oct 10, 2008

Reported on Oct 10, 2008

WE HAVE A 2007 HYUNDAI ENTOURAGE IN WHICH THE SEAT BELTS CONSISTENTLY LOCK UP AND CHOKE THE PASSENGERS. THEY LOCK WHEN THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION, NOT WHILE STOPPING. THE DEALER AND CORPORATE OFFICES CLAIM THIS IS NORMAL OPERATING PROCEDURE FOR THE VEHICLE. THEY LOCK UP AND DO NOT RELEASE UNLESS THE SEAT BELT IS UNFASTENED WHICH IS UNSAFE WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION BUT NEEDS TO BE DONE OR CAUSE INJURY. *TR
