TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 HONDA ODYSSEY. THE CONTACT STATED THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED WHEN SHE LIFTED THE REAR LIFT GATE AND IT FELL, STRIKING HER ON THE TOP OF HER HEAD, NECK AND SHOULDERS. SHE ATTEMPTED TO HOLD THE LIFT GATE IN PLACE BUT IT CONTINUED TO FAIL. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. IN ADDITION, ALL FOUR POWER WINDOWS WOULD INDEPENDENTLY OPEN. THE DEALER WAS ALSO UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE OF THE WINDOWS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND ADVISED THAT AN INVESTIGATOR WOULD FURTHER EXAMINE THE VEHICLE FOR THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 23,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 23,320.
