TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 HONDA CRV. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AS SHE OPENED THE DRIVER SIDE WINDOW, THERE WAS SMOKE COMING FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE DOOR. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS NOTIFIED WHO DISCONNECTED THE BATTERY. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A MECHANIC WHO INSPECTED THE FAILURE AND ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE MASTER WINDOW SWITCH WOULD NEED REPLACING. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED WHO ADVISED THAT THEY WOULD SEND A REPRESENTATIVE TO FURTHER INVESTIGATE THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 180,592. | |
