| WE HAVE A 2002 HONDA CRV. THE 1ST AIR COMPRESSOR LOCKED UP/BLEW UP AT APPROXIMATELY 70K MILES. THE EXTENDED WARRANTY COVERED THE REPLACEMENT. NOW THE 2ND COMPRESSOR HAS DONE THE SAME THING. EXTENDED WARRANTY HAS EXPIRED. COST IS $2300. HAVE READ THAT THIS YEAR OF CRV HAS DEFECTIVE COMPRESSORS. HONDA AMERICA OFFERED TO PAY 25% ($408) WHICH IS NOT ADEQUATE SINCE THIS IS OUR 2ND COMPRESSOR AND THE PRODUCT APPEARS TO BE DEFECTIVE (AS OPPOSED TO REGULAR WEAR AND TEAR). *TR | |
