Honda Accord Seats Safety Report | Sept 21, 2011

Reported on Sept 21, 2011

THE DRIVER'S SEAT IS SO UNCOMFORTABLE THAT I FEEL IT IS A SAFETY CONCERN. DRIVER FATIGUE AND DISTRACTION. THE SEATING MATERIAL IS TOO HARD, THE LUMBAR IS TOO PROMINENT AND MISPLACED (TOO HIGH) BECAUSE THE BOTTOM SEAT CUSHION IS TOO LOW IN THE BACK, AND CAN'T BE ADJUSTED UPWARD. THE HEAD REST IS SO FAR FORWARD AS TO NOT ALLOW ANY HEAD MOVEMENT. ONLY VERY SHORT TRIPS CAN BE MADE IN THIS AUTOMOBILE. LONGER TRIPS ARE NOT ADVISABLE. *TR
