2007 FDXWG just quits during a ride. Engine on/off switch does not always prime the engine on I have stopped. Does nothing then it works. Any answers? I have a 2008 softail custom fxstc . The other day whilst riding along the engine coughed a couple of times as if missing. A bit later it died until i almost reached a dead stop. It kicked into life and i rode it home but the engine warning light Way is my 2000 Softail engine making a random metal knocking sound at idle wiyh 15000 miles? Could it be oil pump? Has anybody else started getting issues with the clutch wanting to inch forward as soon as its put into gear and also when travelling in fifth gear engine slipping as in twisting throttle, engine revs increase but bike doesnt speed up?
