ABS PROBLEMS; DRIVING ON NORMAL ROAD CONDITIONS DURING NORMAL BRAKING WHEN APPLYING THE BRAKES THERE IS EXTENDED STOPPING DISTANCE. THE PEDAL IS VERY SOFT AND GOES CLOSE TO THE FLOORBOARD. THIS CONDITION HAS CAUSED DRIVER TO HAVE 2 ACCIDENTS. THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN REPORTED TO DEALER 24 TIMES IN A ONE YEAR PERIOD. THE REAR BRAKES WERE REPLACED ON 9/10/97. OWNER STILL EXPERIENCING A BRAKE PROBLEM. IN ADDITION, NON DEPLOYMENT OF DRIVER'S/PASSENGER'S AIR BAGS DURING BOTH COLLISIONS RESULTED IN INJURIES. *AK | |
