Ford Service Fuel Tank Equipment Adaptive Safety Report | Feb 18, 2012
Reported on Feb 18, 2012
THE HEADRESTS ON NEWER CARS MAY HELP PREVENT WHIPLASH BUT THEY CAUSE CHRONIC NECK AND BACK PROBLEMS. THE ANGLE ON THEM IS EXTREME AND PUSHES MY HEAD FORWARD INTO A PAINFUL AND UNNATURAL POSITION. SURELY THERE IS A WAY TO MAKE THESE SAFE FOR BOTH ACUTE (CRASH) SITUATIONS AND SAFE FOR LONGTERM NECK/BACK HEALTH. WHEN YOU SPEND HOURS IN A CAR WITH YOUR HEAD JUTTED FORWARD IT IS A MAJOR ISSUE. RECONSIDER YOUR REQUIREMENTS. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. *TR | |
