Ford Escape Fuel/propulsion System Safety Report | Oct 24, 2013
Reported on Oct 24, 2013
WRENCH LIGHT CAME ON, ALL THROTTLE RESPONSE STOPPED. I WAS LEFT AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT WITH A CAR THAT WOULD BARELY MOVE. TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALER - THEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME TO REPLACE THE ELECTRONIC THROTTLE BODY. THE CAR WAS ONLY OUT OF WARRANTY BY 1000 MILES. ENDED UP COMPROMISING ON PAYING $100. FORD NEEDS TO FIX THIS. THEY KNOW IT'S AN ISSUE. *TR | |
