Ford Escape Engine Safety Report | Oct 26, 2013

Reported on Oct 26, 2013

WHILE DRIVING THE ENGINE STALLED, BUT THE LIGHTS AND RADIO CONTINUED TO WORK. WE PULLED OVER AND PUT THE CAR INTO PARK AND ATTEMPTED TO RESTART THE ENGINE, AND IT STARTED. HOWEVER, JUST A COUPLE OF WEEKS LATER (THIS PAST WEEKEND) IT HAPPENED AGAIN. BOTH TIME WE WERE TRAVELING AROUND 20-25 MPH ON CITY STREETS, NO WARNING ON INDICATION PRIOR TO THE STALLING, BUT WHEN IT DOES STALL THE OIL AND ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON. *TR
