TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD ESCAPE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ENGINE WAS STARTED AND THE ENGINE FAULT MESSAGE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED AS THE VEHICLE HESITATED AND JERKED. THE FAILURE WAS EXPERIENCED SEVERAL TIMES. THE DEALER PERFORMED A DIAGNOSTIC WHICH LOCATED THE FAILURE AT THE ENGINE SENSOR. THE DEALER CLEANED THE ENGINE SENSOR HOWEVER, THE FAILURE WAS NOT CORRECTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,500 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 2,700.
