Ford Escape Electrical System Safety Report | May 31, 2013

Reported on May 31, 2013

MY 2011 FORD ESCAPE STALLS AT HIGHWAY SPEED. THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE TO FORD, AND THE PART WAS ON BACK ORDER BECAUSE OF ALL OF THE OTHER DEFECTIVE ESCAPES. ALTHOUGH THE PART WAS SAID TO HAVE BEEN REPLACED, THE STALLING HAS CONTINUED. MY FORD DEALER REFUSES TO DO FURTHER REPAIRS, EVEN THOUGH THE TRUCK IS VERY DANGEROUS TO DRIVE. THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE THROTTLE BODY FOR THIS MODEL. HERE IS A VIDEO THAT SOMEONE ELSE POSTED ON YOUTUBE HTTP://WWW.YOUTUBE.COM/WATCH?V=1RVGHYXVGU4
