TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 HONDA FIT. THE VEHICLE HAS DUNLOP TIRES, SIZE 195/55/R15 (NA). THE CONTACT NOTICED A BULGE IN THE FRONT PASSENGER TIRE. SEVERAL MONTHS LATER, WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 62 MPH, THE FRONT PASSENGER WHEEL SPONTANEOUSLY DETACHED AND ONLY THE RIM REMAINED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE NEAREST TIRE SHOP AND ALL FOUR TIRES WERE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS UNABLE TO ASSIST. THE DOT NUMBER WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 20,450 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 20,492.
