MUSTY ODOR FROM HVAC SYSTEM ON GM CARS AND TRUCKS PRIOR TO 2012. THE MICROBIAL GROWTH HAS TO BE IDENTIFIED TO ASSURE PUBLIC SAFETY. IN MY VEHICLE, THE ODOR CONTINUES EVEN THOUGH THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT PERFORMED THE REMEDIAL WORK SUGGESTED BY GENERAL MOTORS. THE SMELL FIRST BECAME UNBEARABLE ABOUT EIGHT WEEKS AGO, WHEN I STARTED USING THE AIR CONDITIONING MORE AND MORE. GENERAL MOTORS OUTLINED THE PROBLEM IN A TSB. ...UPDATED 07/19/12 *BF
