TL- THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHEVROLET IMPALA. THE CONTACT WAS USING THE VEHICLE AS A RENTAL. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 20 MPH WHEN THE BRAKES INDEPENDENTLY SEIZED. THE VEHICLE CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP THEN EVENTUALLY RESUMED PROPER FUNCTION. THE NEXT DAY THE FAILURE RECURRED WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE CONTACT HEARD 3 TO 4 BEEPS FOLLOWED BY THE BRAKES INDEPENDENTLY SEIZING. AS A RESULT, ANOTHER VEHICLE CRASHED INTO THE REAR OF THE CONTACT¿S VEHICLE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED OF THE INCIDENT.
