TL- THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET EQUINOX. THE CONTACT COULD NOT GET THE KEY OUT OF THE IGNITION AND THE FAILURE CONTINUED AT RANDOM ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE IGNITION KEY ASSEMBLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED AND THE FAILURE STILL RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE SHIFTER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 62000. DYD
