I have a 2002 Volvo XC70. When I drive it, the electrical system shuts down. I have no gauges at all and no lights on my dashboard, no signal lights, or washer fluid ability. This has happened several times, but self-corrects when I shut the car down for a few minutes. It never happens when my husband drives, so he says it's me. Any advice?

I had the same fault with mine once and then never happened again so I can't really offer any advice. Apart from that, I have always felt very safe in it.
