Sorry about the Volvo issues Brandon,, Check out my last message (Mark Cia) Lots of electrical problems with these vehicles. I had to replace a PEM unit Module 700. $ This module is located near the gas Tank where it is subjected to the outer elements. The S40s had a recall on this and Volvo now puts this module in the Car Trunk to protect it. They (Volvo) will not admit any wrong doing on the S60s. I will not rest until I tell the World on the web how Volvo treats there Customers that buy their Cars. Hear is another story:

VOLVO S60 2004 car safety problem was reported on Sept 08, 2008.VOLVO S60 2004, manufactured by VOLVO CARS OF N.A. LLC. Had a problem with FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE. I WAS DRIVING ABOUT 65 MILES AN HOUR IN THE LEFT HAND LANE OF AN INTERSTATE YESTERDAY WHEN MY CAR STALLED AND DIED. THE VOLVO DEALERSHIP STATES IT IS NOT SUBJECT TO RECALL, YET THE INCIDENT IS IDENTICAL TO PROBLEM DESCRIBED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER 07V226000. *TR.Mileage was 69000 miles. Vehicle Identification Number (VIN):YV1RS61T142. VOLVO S60 2004 problem was reported in ROSWELL, GA. Vehicle was not using ANTI-LOCK BRAKES. Vehicle was not using Cruise Control. This story is a true testament to what they do to regular people that work hard for their Money. (“SHAME ON YOU VOLVO”). Your Customer service and Reliability is no better that the GMs, Ford and Chryslers of the 70s and 80s
