A/C not working. checked all fuses, 35a small ...

A/C not working. checked all fuses, 35a small that runs fan speed is ok but does blow after running for a week or so. 30a thermal fuse is good, the 40a large fuse is good, checked several relays ( 12vdc / shorted power side of relay) high and low side of a/c refeg is both 140 psi. compressor not turning on. my car has 150,000 miles on it and is a

tryed to replace the heater control unit from the bone yard with no luck, but did get the a/c button to click in/out.

when i followed the outside air temp. sensor i found a connector ( one of several under the cover of the p/s res. and the only one that had 4 leads had some wires that looked overheated, bubbled and melted together. ( ? where do these wires go to?
