The sun visor will not stay up on our 2002 Toyota Highlander Limited. The car originally belonged to my mother-in-law. She only put 64,000 miles on it. One of the maim reasons she wanted to get rid of it was the driver side sun visor. The dealer has told me hat this is a common problem brought about by the weight added to the visor by the electronics (lighted mirror and homelink). The replacement visor is about $600.00. I have called the national number for Toyota Service and they are going to get back to me with what can be done. Based upon what I have read here, I'm amazed that there hasn't been a recall on this issue. It's mote than an inconvenience. It's dangerous.
