As I got in my 2007 parked B9Tribeca in a department store parking lot, fastened the seat belt and started the engine, the car suddenly lurched forward, slightly to the right, went over two medians, hit a parked car and then finally came to a stop as I practically STOOD on the brakes to stop it. This happened on Nov. 20, 2011 and to date Subaru cannot diagnose the problem nor accept any knowledge of this ever happening to anyone else which I know NOT to be true after reading numerous postings. The previous day as my husband was driving the rear differential light came on and he immediately called the service department of our Subaru dealership. They said it was not a problem, we could drive it and they would take care of it on our next visit for the 60,00 mile checkup which was coming up within a week. that is the first thing he thought of when he heard of the accident. I am petrified to drive it any longer. In addition after paying $800 for a complete checkup, they never put it on the computer to see what might have caused the accident NOR did they fix the rear differential light.......another appointment has to be set up. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN SUBARU.
