I have a 2008 Outlook XR, shortly after I bought it ...

I have a 2008 Outlook XR, shortly after I bought it I received the service bulletin for the wipers and transmission software update. The difference in the power was amazing. Now, two years later the car seems to have reverted back to the sloth that it was before the update. I dread taking it to the dealer for fear that they'll look at me like an idot not knowing that the update has already been done so the problem must be something else, even though the driving manners are exactly the same as before. Any comments would be appreciated....
