I recently had to change the battery in my 03 l300. ...

I recently had to change the battery in my 03 l300. The car was running fine until the battery went dead. I pulled the battery went and got a new one put the battery in and the car alarm went off. I turned off the alarm and finished putting in the battery. When I started it the loss of power icon lit up. I cannot drive faster than idle speed. Can anyone help.

have an 02 saturn L300 have replaced fuel pump 3 times possiable fourth they are all OEM delphi pumps. Why is this happening? Replaced original pump because inlet and outlets were brittle and broke
