My e350 2008, instrument cluster when totaly dead, I checked all the fuses and they are ok, I remember replacing the battery, and then this happened, I hope I did not damage it, any tips?

Having 2 problems being repaired on '10 E350: 
1.  When cruising at about 55-60mph, and you punch it to pass, the engine revs up the rpm's but doesn't downshift until you remove foot from accelerator for a second or two.  Looks like TCM modu

I have a 2007 E350 with 53k miles.  have noticed a noise coming from the rear.  Dealer says I need a new rear diff. which is not covered under warranty.  This doesn't sound normal.  Is there a problem with a differential going at 53k miles?

2006 E350 strong gas smell after filling tank.  The smell inside is so bad it's hard to drive you can also smell outside.  I have read and see that it's been a problem with MB and they are doing nothing about it.
