My CX-9 surges/lurches when I accelerate from a dead stop.  One of several things occur.  (A) the car seems to "skip" 1st gear and revs up quickly to 2nd gear; (B) when going from 1st to 2nd, the car seems to want to stall, but quickly accelerates to 3rd; (C) the car goes through 1st, 2nd without seeming to actually accelerate, but then "jumps" to 3rd.  The car operates well otherwise after 3rd gear.  No issues when accelerating at high speeds (i.e. on freeway).  I've brought it to a Mazda dealer and they said they couldn't find anything wrong with the car.  Naturally, when I brought the car to the dealer to have one of the service managers take a drive with me to see what's happening, the car operated without a problem.  He still had his guys (at least I hope so), do a diagnostic and perform "basic" checks on the car without any suggestions as to why this is happening.  The car is fueled with Mobil 87 gas, oil is changed regularly as suggested by the owner's manual, and no indicator lights are on.

My CX9 has a strange noise coming from the left wheel.  It grinds when turning right....  like something is rubbing (sometimes the rubber, other times the metal).  It also has clicking noise when driving down the road sorta like coming from the
