Purchased a 2010 Lincoln MKZ 12 months ago. 5 months ago, the engine seemed like it would stall every time I hit the brake and just before it stalled the car would surge or jump forward. At the time it felt like the fuel timing was off. I took the car to the dealer and was told I need a programming update. When I left the dealer, the car ran fine. A few days ago, the same problem started to occur again and the vehicle actually stalled. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem or have any ideas on what the problem could be? I'm taking it back to the dealership to troubleshoot.
