2003 Lincoln Aviator: My husband and 12 YOA son are traveling on the fast lane on the highway at about 65 mph, when the side air bags spontaneously deploy. My husband is able to put his hand back on the steering wheel and manages to pull off the highway without being able to see as the airbag are still inflated. His son is screaming the whole time because the loud noise he thinks they have been shot. Thankfully, there are no serious injuries other that strained necks due to the impact of the bags, and some hearing issues due to the loud noise. Can't drive the vehicle until it is fixed and neither the insurance company nor Ford are taking responsibility for the repairs and saying the other is responsible...
