I have a 1994 Lexus LS 400 that has what appears to be the common problem with the dash display( speedometer, gas gauge, tach, and temp indicator ) all dark. The display was previously intermittent in that with cool temperatures the problem would present itself but in warm temps the display would operate normal. I have researched this problem via the web and it appears Lexus is not interested in rectifying the problem. I too, am very disappointed with Lexus in that one would assume that a company that says it prides itself in 'The Pursuit of Perfection', would not choose to disregard the obvious defect in their product.

I recently removed my display and replaced the electrolytic capacitors , 212, 146 and 147 but this did not fix the problem.

I recently purchased a new vehicle and my choice was a Mercedes 550SL. My decision to purchase Mercedes was most definitely driven by the apparent lack of response that many of us have experienced with Lexus.

recently, on my 1992 SC400, a loud beep apparantly coming from the right door speaker comes immediately after starting the car. I've turned off the radio and it still beeps.

We fixed some oil leaks on a 1995 Lexus LS400.  We replace camshaft seals, timing belt, caps and rotors.  It came back with a really bad miss.  We replaced 3 injectors on #5, #6, & #8 clylinders. We thought it was fixed.  After driving it

1994  LS 400 throttle sticking and accelerating around 35mph to 40mph.  Cruise is not on and slight braking only slows vehicle.  Happened after heavy rain.

i cant open the driver door end it locks by it self ,how can i open it ,i have to jump out from the other door . is ther e a recall on it .what shall i do
