I have a 2002 Lexus ES300 with 108,000 miles on it....

I have a 2002 Lexus ES300 with 108,000 miles on it. It's been well maintained but recently it has started a surge when accelerating as if it was starving for gasl Any ideas what might be causing this. My mechanic thought it might be the Mass air sensor and installed a new one, but that was not the problem.

Im still trying to figure this one out myself. Bucking when flooring gas pedal. Its extremely annoying and im running out of culprits,will test fuel pressure today.

I recentlly replace my alernator in a 2002 lexus es300, and its start and everything but want stay running for long. Do I have to reprogram anything, to solve this problem.
